Case Study - A graduate Relocation from London to Middlesborough, UK

Starting your first job is daunting enough, without having to also relocate to a brand new area and home. This is exactly the situation that Tom found himself in when he left university and received his first job offer.

​Fortunately, his future employer recognised that some support and assistance would certainly be useful and also help toward staff retention going forward. A good impression of a supportive company from the outset is crucial when attracting and retaining key staff.

We focussed our search on Redcar and the surrounding areas such as Saltburn and Marske as it was important for Tom to be close the office, but also central to amenities and nightlife.

The rental market in this area was a challenge with the budget available, so it was invaluable to use a relocation company when scheduling viewing appointments and negotiating with the landlords and agents.

In this case, a furnished property was secured close to Tom's office and we then assisted with the referencing process and tenancy agreement negotiation. As Tom was starting a new job and was subject to a probationary period we had to arrange for a UK based guarantor to be made available in order to secure his preferred property.

We are pleased to say that Tom is settled into his new home and job and is looking forward to the rest of his family visiting him soon.
