The Director of Finance of a large Australian Company was relocating back to the UK from Switzerland. His estranged wife and three children were located in Birmingham (UK).
TRC were employed by his Company to find him a house to purchase within an easy commute of his office (in Theale).
The relocatee required a low maintenance property close to work, the M40 motorway (for visits to Birmingham) and Heathrow.
He required an area with entertainment, gyms, and shopping, but also a country lifestyle. The search was narrowed down to five key areas – Wallingford, Sonning Common, Henley, Marlow and Twyford. Accompanied viewings were arranged and a suitable property was found. TRC then administered his purchase of a 'new build' property in the centre of Wallingford.
The relocatee was extremely happy with his new home - it was within the centre of this larger village, where there are coffee shops, gyms and river walks. It was 30 minutes from his office and 20 minutes from the M40.
The expertise, professionalism and flexibility were certainly a major contributor to my experience but so was the willingness to get involved and help with some of the administrative activities.
