Too often, international assignments fail and evidence shows that the financial cost to the Company can be as much as 2½ times the annual salary cost of the transferee. Not only that, but a failed assignment can lead to employees refusing future international moves, having relationship problems, and, even leaving the company prematurely.

Moving away from home for work can be immensely stressful for all involved. At The Relocation Consultancy, our core aim is to do everything we can to ensure these stress levels are kept to a minimum for all involved. By reducing the stress, we improve the chances of the transferee and their family settling happily, thereby helping the employee to do their job effectively during their stay.

To facilitate the planning process and help make everything as simple as possible for you and your Company, we have created a number of fixed-fee packages. These aim to help you to plan your moving budgets as effectively as possible. There are no hidden costs, though please do note that all prices are subject to VAT (currently 20%). Please contact us if you would like a copy, and please note that we are happy to adapt our services to meet your specific requirements.

Prior to undertaking any project, TRC clearly establishes the parameters of the work involved and will confirm the fee required. We request each Company to pay a one-off deposit of £490 (+VAT), which is deducted from the final invoice.

Our standard practice is not to take referral fees from our suppliers / providers. Instead, we always request for any such fees to be converted to discounts, which are passed on directly to our clients. By doing this, we are able to keep external fees charged separately to your Company/transferee (for extra services, such as furniture rentals) at very competitive rates.

If required, we can create complimentary password-protected areas on our website for moving families. This area provides them with useful documents and links which are personalised specifically to meet their needs. It also includes their own chat area, to enable them to safely keep in touch online with their family and friends.
